• Reversed hot & neutral polarity
• Loose/incomplete neutral connection anywhere along the circuit (panel neutral bar, junction box wire nuts, upstream terminals)
This receptacle complies with NEMA standards . Please connect the hot wire to the HOT terminal and the neutral wire to the NEUTRAL terminal. For stranded wire: Consolidate all strands fully before inserting into terminals to avoid scattered copper strands.
