Filters, regulators, lubricators, and piggybacks can be combined together to form combinations. They are typically strung together in the F+R+L arrangement (three-piece combo) and F/R+L (two-piece combo) arrangement, although other configurations are also used depending on application needs. ARO-Flo combination FRLs are easily assembled using modular spacer kits. Panel nuts not included with units and must be ordered separately.

FRL Installation Help
The filter, regulator and lubricator should be installed in the order shown in the illustration below. If a coalescing filter is required, it should be installed downstream from a standard filter. Individual take-off lines to the FRL and air tool or equipment should be from the top of the compressed air line. Make sure that airflow markings are followed for proper flow direction through the FRL units. For Lubricators, it is recommended that customers utilize ARO Air Line lubricating oil, part number 29665, which is a light SAE 10, non-detergent oil.
